Since 2013 Julius Ewig is CEO Germany & Switzerland of Artefact Germany GmbH (previously metapeople GmbH). He oversees the whole business of Digital & Data Marketing, in particular, Media Activation, Affiliate Marketing, Client Service and SEO. Since August 2016 he is a member of the Activation Committee of the Artefact Group.
Prior to that, from 2008 onwards, he was active in the affiliate marketing subsidiary metaapes, where he was responsible for managing and expanding the international affiliate business as Head of Affiliate Marketing. After training as an advertising salesman, he started his career as an account manager at WAS ?! advertising agency in Cologne. Afterwards, he studied media economics at the Rheinische Fachhochschule. Julius Ewig has extensive experience in the field of performance marketing and can additionally look back on numerous experience as a speaker at various online marketing events as well as in working groups of the BVDW. As a former footballer at Bayer 04 Leverkusen and as a U15 international he has a fondness for sporty leisure time.
