John Matthews is the Director of Customer Acquisition at Kayo Sports, Australia’s newest sports streaming service, and has 20 years’ experience in the Digital Marketing industry both domestically and internationally.
Prior to his role with Kayo Sports, John spent three years as Group Head of Performance and Media at APD in Singapore. In this role he was tasked with building out APD’s Digital Marketing capability across Australia, New Zealand and South East Asia.
Before moving to Singapore, John spent 12 years in Australia building one of the country’s most successful independent Performance Marketing agencies, dgm, with a team of 70 working across SEO, Programmatic, Paid Social, PPC, Affiliate Marketing, Lead Generation and Data & Analytics.
His current role combines two of his passions, sport and marketing, with John responsible for overseeing customer acquisition at Kayo, including Digital Media, Partnerships and Distribution.
A Performance Marketer by trade, John is passionate about building great teams, delivering exceptional work and the development of people.
